Raffles CU has announced that two of their graduates, Liu Yang and Zheng Jia (Business Administration Diploma, Class of 2006), have authored a two volume book, ?Welcome to the UK-Education and Life in the United Kingdom?. Published by Peking University Press, this 800 page publication took two years to research and produce.
The two volume book is supported by several members of the Royal family, especially Her Royal Highness who is Chancellor of the University of London. The Duke of York stated: ?Co-operation between the UK and China has never been more important and His Royal Highness is delighted that you are producing this book which will assist Chinese students studying in the UK?.
After graduating from Raffles CU, both Liu Yang and Zheng Jia went on to further their studies at the University of London. Liu Yang attained a Masters Degree in Public Policy and MPhil Degree in Sociology and went on to a Doctoral Degree at Cambridge University in Oriental Sociology. Zheng Jia earned a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and his Doctoral Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Zheng Jia is now back in China and
is busy setting up his own company in Hong Kong whilst Liu Yang has remained in
the UK and is the publisher and CEO of the London Global
Times.
