Mr. Leo Li was awarded Bronze award at the 2009 China?s (Guangdong) University Students Fashion Week in our College?s first attempt at the Competition.

On 3 June 2009, 25 students from Raffles Design Institute ? Guangzhou (RGZ) and 17 other universities in Guangdong Province and Hong Kong (SAR) took part in the 2009 China?s (Guangdong) University Students Fashion Competition. The event was a showcase of fashion wear from the 25 finalists and served as a grand finale to the 2009 China?s (Guangdong) University Students Fashion Week.

Raffles College of Design and Commerce Bachelor of Design student Peggy Hartanto has won the prestigious Kinokuniya Digital Art Prize.

Ms Hartanto, who is in her third year of study at Raffles College and a Fashion Design major, won the Kinokuniya Digital Art Prize with her work The Fatal Fruit.

Ms Natalie Connor, a recent graduate of the school, has been admitted to Parsons, New York, the world?s most prestigious art and design institution. This new milestone is a testament to the international recognition of the Raffles degree.

(a)   RIC Bangkok has announced that Ms. Tanarat Kongsupasiri, a student at RIC Bangkok, was placed 1st Runner up in Electrolux?s ?Design Lab? global competition. The panel of judges commented that Mayy?s work had great depth and highlighted her ability to interpret the needs of a group and address it through the creation of a design product.  The student?s win is yet another testament to Raffles Bangkok?s Product Design Department?s ?User-Centred? design approach.
