On the opening night of the Aquafina Pure Fashion
Contest at the Rex Hotel on 21st August 2009, our student Mr. Nguyen
Quoc Anh Vuong had the honour of presenting one of collections to be
shown during the show beside famous leading designers in Vietnam
including Cong Tri, Thuan Viet, Ngo Thai Uyen. The winner at the 2nd
prize in the Aquafina Pure Fashion Contest 2008 ? Fashion designer Anh
Vuong - with the collection "Black Secret" has left a deep impression
and showed a new look great wear ability... This collection was
especially fascinating with the performance of models Thanh Hang, Trang
Nhung, Phung Ngoc Yen, Quynh Trang, Thu Hang ...
On 28th August, lecturer Julio and his students
had a field trip to textile exhibition in district 7. At this
exhibition, students interviewed business men and women and got more
experience about their successful strategies. Beside study theory, this
activity was a good chance for students to improve their knowledge.
Raffles HCMC campus has organized successful
Raffles Media Expo last August 29th, 2009. More than 150 students and
parents were in attendance. Participants have enjoyed our first public
exhibition of our Visual Communication and Multimedia Students products
such as short films, experimental videos, animations, photography and
graphics.
On 16th September, business class of lecturer
Julio had a field trip in the Independence Palace. This was a chance
for students to communicate with foreigners to improve their knowledge.
When observed the pictures and objects on display students also
understood more about Viet Nam?s history.
Raffles HCMC campus has organized successful
Seminar "Why Raffles?" last September 19, 2009. More than 70 students
and parents were in attendance. The said Seminar imparted to all the
participants the success of Raffles HCMC and why it has been
continually attracting many students in Vietnam.
