On March 18th 2010 at the Windsor Plaza Hotel ? the group of 16 students of Raffles Hospitality department and their accompanying Raffles Staff had the opportunity to enjoy a professional tour of this 5 Star Hotel.
On average, the 5 Star Hotel through their respective General Manager and / or HR Directors & Staff and /or Guest Relations Manager & Staff provided our Raffles Hospitality Students & Staff with a relevant & proficient Hotel Operation Introduction which was followed by a general visit of their own properties including the lobby-front office, guest rooms, restaurants, gym, pool, spas, etc?
Overall, our Raffles Hospitality Students have significantly benefited from this field trip by being exposed to world leading Hospitality Organizations & their related efficient systems & career opportunities. Concurrently, after having met our Raffles Hospitality Students & Staff, the 5 Star Hotels have already expressed to Raffles Management their interests to create and / or further develop their Raffles Hospitality Student Internship Programs.
